Genetic resources conserved at IRG are utilized by scientists and researchers within and outside the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) system. Recipients of IRG materials reside in different nations across the world. Research institutes, academic institutions or universities, national programs, non-government organizations, private companies, farmers and individuals, and national genebanks are continuously requesting and utilizing the germplasm conserved by IRG.

This section shows the share of the total number of requests for IRG accessions by the affiliation of the requestor or recipient institution. The first pie chart shows the proportion of the total number of requests by the general affiliation of the requestor, whether a member of the Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research (One-CGIAR) or not. The second pie chart shows the proportion of the total number of requests by the specific institutional affiliation of the non-CGIAR requestors. Filtering can be done by continent and by country. The map shows that the darker the color of a country, the higher the count of indicators selected by country. The summary table on the first tab contains the total number of each of the three indicators per recipient country, while the second tab contains the list of all IRG accession by recipient country. The pie and bar charts show the top 15 countries with the highest number of IRG accessions requested under the selected criteria. Data can be filtered through filter boxes (by continent and by country) or through the table headers.. Filtering will affect all the graphs and tables on the page.
